He has been developing his musical talents for more than fifty years; piano and music theory lessons as a child, clarinet in his youth, dabbling with the guitar during the folk era of the ‘60s, various church choirs, and vocal training in choir and gospel quartet. Deb Carlson, Vocalist/Children’s Choir Deb lives in St. Paul with my husband Bob and children Audrey and Chet. She grew up singing in church. She sang duets with her dad while her mom played the piano. Deb attended Bethel and sang in the choir and with the Bethel Connection. She taught grade school music at St. Pius X, St. Jude of the Lake and Minnehaha Academy South and she’s also had a Kindermusik studio for 9 years. After children she wanted to sing more, so she learned how to play guitar. As if that wasn’t enough, she is also a member of a few local bands-Hello Stranger (bluegrass), The Duet Set (originals, country, folk) and she and her husband have a solo set that they do. Deb says “I bubble with joy to think that in this position my “work” is to sing to God and sing of God!“ |
