Fellowship Bible Study5:30 - 7:00 p.m. 2nd & 4th TuesdaysBaker’s Square, Highland Village |
The Tuesday Night Bible Study is starting a new Bible Study called "Growing Older and Wiser." They meet on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month at Baker Square at 5:30pm. After a good meal and fellowship, we wind up with our study by 7. Now society worships the young and supple, unlike other times and places where honor belonged to the aged that passed down their stories and wisdom. "...the Bible reveals that human nature has not changed. In the Scripture studies in this book, you will find examples of people who got older and wiser and examples of people who just got older. You will find older people who should have listened to younger people and vice versa." The books studied include Genesis, I Kings, Colossians, Job, Ephesians, and Psalms. Everyone is welcome—studier, talker or silent. Call Chuck Neve for more information, 651-645-8543, or just show up on Tuesday evening. Eleta faithfully puts a reminder in the worship bulletin when we meet. |
Nursery Available |
The nursery is available in the upstairs Toddler Room (the first room on the right) during the entire worship service. Parents may bring their infants and toddlers, age 3 and under, to the nursery at any point. Parents are also welcome to keep their children in worship. Our nursery staff is Margot Dailey, a member of our church who also works with children at the Montessori Preschool in our building. Parents, please feel free to share any personal preferences and schedules with Margot. |

Lectionary Bible Study |
This group meets at people's homes on the first Mondays and third Tuesday evenings of the month at 6:30 pm. We study the lectionary texts for the next Sunday. A list of lectionary passages can be found at: http://www.pcusa.org/resource/2011-revised-common-lectionary.
This group is open to anyone at any time. No previous experience or expertise is necessary--just a desire to read the Bible with fellow Christians and a hunger for the good news. You can read the texts in advance or just come and dive in. We try to finish promptly at 8:00 pm each time we meet. Here is a list of dates for the coming months. Contact Phil for the locations. |
